Through the persona some keywords are picked that helped me decide on what my focus will be in the entire project and made me understand the audience that I am targeting to work for while redesigning BBBY web app.

Creating an empathy map helped me understand the end user’s behaviors, thoughts, and actions even more. Through doing this, I was able to put myself in Minerva Tang’ shoes.
To understand why users (students) do not get attracted to BBBY, I decided to create a user journey map to provide a bigger picture of our users' workflow and their mental model. I also created a behavior map - a behavior change technique that maps out the end-to-end steps that help us to assess the current state of processes.

If the student wants to create their dorm room from scratch picking up favorite items from the store and check how they all will look once set together. But not everyone wants to invest time designing their room, they want an easy solution. BBBY provides a very effective alternate solution of picking a room from already styled dorm rooms and getting items from that particular room.
Not everybody wants to spend the time to design their dorm room from scratch. So, BBBY gives you an option to choose from predesigned rooms. Select from the wide range of room styles designed just for you.

The user is not used to shopping without inputs from her parents. She is overwhelmed and has no idea what style she wants for her room. She explores different shopping sites but it is very confusing for her.
She searches for inspiration from Google but is not sure if she will get the exact products. Let’s Pick a predesigned styled room that is her favourite and get the desired products added for review:
1. Click “Pick a style to go” and see details of your favorite room
2. Select all the desired products that you want to add to the cart
3. Go to the Cart to review all the items before your final checkout
The second option that BBBY provides is to “Create your style”. For this firstly you need to know what your dorm room is kind of like. Once you know that, you are all set to create your room with all the products provided by BBBY.
BBBY presents this option in a form of interactive digital book inside the web app. The interaction of each component can be seen in further section.

He has so many ideas including having a party with friends, learning new things from other students, and doing his own shopping. He likes shopping but is not sure how all the items might look together. 3. Pick desired items and BBBY will show you the final look of the room
